Kenwood CLK series the RAZR of audio systems

Kenwood Japan has announced the CLK series of super slim audio systems. The line up includes two models CLK-5i-S/W which has a CD player with USB and CLK-7i-S which comes with CD / MD player and USB support. Other than this the specifications remain the same the units are just 18mm thick and the CD player supports CD-R/RW discs and MP3 / WMA playback. You can hook up a Flash drive via the USB slot and playback MP3 / WMA tracks. The high end CLK-7i-S comes with a MD deck which are still used in Japan with support for high speed CD recording. The front panel is made from aluminum which gives the unit a classy and futuristic look.

The Kenwood CLK series will be available in Japan later this month with the selling for 40,000 Yen ($ 360) and CLK-7i-S for 50,000 Yen ($ 450).
