ViewSonic has come out with another eco-friendly LCD monitor aimed specifically at small office, education and government users. Dubbed as the VA705b, this new 17-inch monitor is an energy efficient display, consuming just 21W during operation. In terms of performance, it provides 1280 x 1024 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 250 cd/m2 brightness and is Energy Star 5.0 compliant. The ViewSonic VA705b is currently available for an MSRP of $149.
