O2 has released a new clamshell that comes in a simple and clean design, the Cocoon. It is a 3G and quad-band GSM phone comes with a 2.0-megapixel-camera with flash, a 2.1-inch 240 x 320 color display, 2GB of internal memory, RDS-compatible FM radio, stereo speakers and Bluetooth support

For transferring files, Cocoon can be connected to Windows or Mac computers. O2 claimed that their Cocoon offer up to five hours’ talk time or 15 hours of continuous music playback. O2 Cocoon will be available in August and costs up to £129($255) on low-cost tariffs or £299($591) on pre-pay. Check out the Cocoon phone review by Shiny Shiny after the jump.
