At the annual meeting of financial analysts, Kevin Turner, Microsoft COO announced that it has sold over 60 million licenses for its latest operating system, Windows Vista. The announcement appears to confirm a permanent slowdown in Vista sales, which ran to 20 million in the first month and 40 million in 100 days, but were halved for both March and April. Microsoft officials also announced that the sales of Vista and Office helped boost revenues to $50 billion, first time in history for the company.
